Beetroot and Bacon Slice
This recipe feeds a family of six or ten children
Prepared fresh by Centre Cook Miss Peta-Lea on Premise.
- 8 eggs
- 1 zucchini (grated)
- 1 carrot (grated)
- one cup cooked chopped bacon
- Half cup beetroot (roughly chopped) Tip: supermarkets sell fresh beetroot already peeled for you. Tin beetroot is also fine.
- ¼ cup beetroot juice
- ¼ cup flour
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup cheese
Mix all ingredients thoroughly, except for eggs.
Add in egg and whisk thoroughly again
Pour mixture into lined baking dish
Cook in oven for 40 minutes on 180 degrees
